DARKNESS

This is for you my dear Harriet! I hope to have translated good this poetry (I have written in Italian!). I love you my dear, Daniela♥♥♥ DARKNESS: In the dark of night vaguely lost in my thoughts. No sound is heard except the chirping of a crow. The fog envelops me like a wet, heavy snow. Where are my dreams? Where are my desires? What I realized in my life? Suddenly, from a far, a light appears before me. First faint and weak, is becoming closer and brighter. A picture is revealed: I recognize, I am! That figure is so bright and angelic! But has my face! It speaks to me: "Why do you think you've lost your dreams? They are always in your heart! Why do you think have not realize your desires? They are around you! Why do you think of not having achieved anything? You are here before me! And to come here to me, you've come a long way. Look behind you! " I turn my back and a multitude of people of colored worlds and luminescent, dazzle me with their brilliance! "This is your journey - says the angelic figure - and is as rich as any human being! This is the way of all men, rich in experience and life! You're not alone! " The angel vanished and a smile fills my lips. And I have no more fear! Terrasini 20 settembre 2010
