Palm Sunday marks the beginning of the end of Jesus' earthly ministry. It was that day He arrived in Jerusalem on the back of a white donkey colt. Where he was praised widely by the people of the city shouting "Hosanna Hosanna in the highest blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord". They laid down palm branches ahead of where the donkey would walk.... It was also during this week that Jesus taught so many things and spoke His famous sermon from the Mount of Olives..... Each year Palm Sunday marks the beginning of what has become known as Holy Week. On Thursday is Maundy Thursday the night of the passover meal (the last Supper). Starting early in the morning on Friday Christ was taken before Herod and Pilot later that day crucified and buried. Thank God that is not the end of the story.. for there is still Holy Sunday, Easter Sunday When Christ Arose! Because, "God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have Everlasting Life" May you have a Blessed Palm Sunday. by Connie Hull
