Scamp's apology

Scamp walked around looking for Independence he finally found her sitting in his former owners front yard looking miserable and furious he took a deep breath and went up to her Scamp: Hey... Indy... Inders its me Scamp Independence whipped her head around at the sound of his voice and snarled when she saw him Independence: Ugh what do YOU want?! Come here to insult and belittle me again?! Not happening this time buddy I'm out of here! She got up and tries to run but Scamp bites her tail to stop her Independence: Ugh you pathetic mutt! Let go of my tail! Scamp: Wait, wait , wait! Just hear me out its not what you think it is! Independence: Oh really?! She sat back down Independence: Fine I will listen to what you have to say but make it quick I have a boy waiting for me! Scamp: Ok I'll try to make quick as- wait WHAT?! You're going on a date with ANOTHER boy?! Independence: Yes I am why is that a probelm?! We're not mates anymore! Why do you care?! Scamp shouts out on the top of his lungs: BECAUSE I'M STILL IN LOVE WITH YOU! Independence was shocked. Independence: What?! Scamp: You heard me! I still love you! So much! Independence's blue eyes widened as she took this in. Independence: Scamp... Scamp: I'm sorry Indy! I'm sorry for killing David! I'm sorry I left you for Angel! And most of all I'm sorry for being a jerk to you! Independence: Scamp I..... Scamp: You don't have to love me back! You don't have to even forgive me! You can go on that date with that boy! Do what you want! Thats all I wanted to say! Independence finally snapped out of her shock and told him how she felt Independence: Scamp I forgive you! I forgive you for everything you did! Scamp... she looked down at her paws then back up to him Independence: I love you too Scamp I always have loved you! I just didn't think it would work out but I see you are sincere and you do really care for me.. Scamp if you want us to be mates again I accept... Scamp was afraid as she said all this afraid she would reject him, deny him, maybe even kill him but he saw in that moment that Indy had a pure heart one that could forgive anyone no matter what wrong they may have done she could find a way to forgive them Independence saw maturity in Scamp that she had not seen before and she saw the desperation and love he held in those eyes those beautiful, soulful brown eyes in that moment the two knew that they would never leave each other again for finally they realized they had found what most people long for: True love
