JFK Jr. Memorial

JFK Jr. Memorial-It will be 10 years ago on the 16th since JFK, Jr was killed in a plane crash along with his wife Carolyn and her sister Lauren. They were flying to Martha's Vineyard for the wedding of Rory Kennedy the award winning documentary maker. Being a Democrat, and a real fan of the Kennedy family as a whole for their devotion to public service, I always assumed he would have eventually put his hat into the ring. And many political strategists said during the election last year that they wondered had he lived would he have run in '08. I loved his magazine 'George' and was sad it folded after his death. So here is a picture of him as a three year old making his famous salute to his father's casket. And a picture that shows just how GORGEOUS he grew up to be. I was one of those girls who always had a crush on him. We lost him WAY too young.
